HOGWARTS EXPSOSED .... THE ULTIMATE HP HIGH!

Greetings from Wizarding World! If you haven't seen Saturday's post please scroll down and start the WW experience from the beginning. If you are visiting for more pics, welcome back and I hope you enjoy them!

By far this is one of the most magnificent views of Hogwarts Castle. The two winged warthog gargoyles flanking the entrance to the multi-spired castle, does take one's breath away.

After yet another endless line, I took a sip on my first butterbeer. YUMMMMMY! This tastes like a liquid cream-sickle. This is totally worth the wait!

I weave through the crowd around the castle to find the end of the line for the entrance into the castle. I walk through the arch into Jurassic Park and continue until I find the end of the line. I roll my eyes, take a deep breath and try not to feel the intense sun beating down on me. I look ahead ..... "Damn!

Am I this far away fro the gates of Hogsmeade!" The woman in front of me turns around and laughs.
With each step closer to the castle, I became friends with the people around me.

I occasionally look up and get a marvelous glimpse of the castle yet to come.

A half an hour later I come up to the gates of Hogsmeade. The arch and Welcome to Hogsmeade metal sign greet me as I approach.

With my butterbeer long gone, the sweat begins to pour down my face. How much longer could it be? Excitement begins to overtake me as I start my climb up the hill toward the castle.

Seeing the winged warthogs up close is incredible. I can't believe how much thought they put into every detail.

Fifteen minutes later, I arrive in the Great Hall. It's a perfect replica on a small scale. The marble staircase only traveled up a few flights, but as I climb to the second level many of the paintings did talk to me.

As I walk through the corridor glimpses of  Dumbeldore's hologram speaks to me and the other fans as we enter his office.

Arriving on the third floor, I watch the brave get ready to partake in the newest ride: the forbidden journey. A moment later, I exit the castle. The sun blinds me as I work my way back down into the storefronts of Hogsmeade village; it's time to do some much needed shopping....

Look forward to the shops of Hogsmeade tour tomorrow. Until then, always your humble tour guide,

Michael

I'm so glad you all are enjoying the pics! I am having a blast keeping the excitement going and finding the right pics to express my feelings at the time.

I plan to go back a few more times. I haven't done the rides yet because of all the other HP fans. I took over 500 pics the first day! Now I know what to expect, so I'll know how to maneuver the crowds better.

Stayed tuned for more fun posts. I hope to have a daily one for the rest of the week. There is lots to show and comment on. Tomorrow's blog will be the stores. The details are unbelievable. Inside Zonkos, Olivander's is especially awesome.

Don't forget to sign up for my Blogfest! The prizes are all coming from WW. Things you'll never see anywhere else!

Have a great day!

Michael
