INSECURE WRITERS SUPPORT GROUP POST... BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

Hi, friends.

As most of you know I have been out of the country for the past ten days. Canada is a truly a wonderful country with friendly people, stunning landscapes, and incredible architecture. I will be posting pics tomorrow of Quebec City, so please drop by.

But until then, please forgive me for not having my post up in time for the Insecure Writers Support Group. This incredible idea has been fathered by our friend, Alex J. Cavanaugh, who is an amazing blogger and one of our communities most treasured friends.

Alex created this concept to help fellow writers who, at times, have issues during their plight for publication. Advise from seasoned published authors and talented newbies can now help each other during their frustrations at pivotal points in their writing.

We have all been there. The plot is not flowing, the characters are flat, the dialogue is sketchy, or the dreaded "What the hell was I thinking when I wrote this!"

During my first year as a blogger ... yes, my one year blogavesary is coming up ... I have learned SO much about SO many things. But mostly I have learned that with patience, determination, and dedication, we CAN reach our goals. Many of my blogger friends have finished novels that are either published or will be soon. These wonderful authors and friends (you know who you are) have given us so much more that just their novels; they have given us pieces of their heart and soul.

Alex... Thank you for your big heart and your presence in our community. You are one of the reasons why this community is so great.

Friends please drop by Alex's blog here for more wonderful posts in this amazing series. There is so much inspiration at our figure tips, we just need to click onto a fellow blogger for it. Now, could that be any easier...

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Welcome back! I honeymooned in QC. It's like having a piece of Europe right next door to us in the US. Gorgeous! Can't wait to see some summertime pics. We were there at Christmas, which was magical at the Chateau Frontenac.

Welcome back, Michael. I'm glad you had the opportunity to spend some time in my fair Country. I hope we treated you with the polite kindness we are known for.

Hey, thanks Michael! And didn't realize you were still in Canada. (And since you are SO good about posting for blogfests and such, I was a little worried.)
This community keeps me going. I would've settled for just one book, but no! My blogger buddies wouldn't allow it.
So here's the the awesome support of blogger buddies!

It can be so hard to come back after vacation! We're glad you did though. :)

Now, you need a vacation from your vacation, right? LOL. Good to have you back safe and sound, Roland

I hear you! In the few months I've been blogging it's been great to read about people getting agents, getting offers, self-pubbing, e-pubbing, and all the other great things that go on in our world.

It can, and does, happen :-)

Welcome back, Michael!
Two sparring partners and Hart for laughs -- let the fun begin.

(You must be insecure if it took you an extra day to say so. I'm sorry.:o[

I support you!

Hey Michael, please look for the email that I sent requesting you to judge ten entries in the campaign. If you didn't get it, let me know please. We've got over 300 entries and it's still climbing.

Welcome back home btw and I hope your trip was great.

Welcome back!

I probably would not be writing the way or as much as I do if I didn't blog; the blogosphere motivates me to keep going. :)

Welcome back! Glad the Canadians didn't keep you. You are so right about Alex. What would we do without him?

Hi Michael,

I love Quebec City! Maybe part of that is because of the amazing hotel that looks down over the city. The Frontenac is another lovely and wonderful old hotel that would be part of More Hotels to Remember should I ever decide to write that book! I'm so happy you had a wonderful trip that must have been full of outstanding memories that will aid your writing.

Okay, the first few weeks of school always leaves us frustrated, tired, and way too busy, so we missed this one. But we did manage to post some really bad lines we've written in the past. Stop by and see how bad we can really write!
erica (and christy, we both posted)
