OH, HOW I MISS YOU .... A BLOGFEST!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today is I am participating in the Oh, How I miss you blogfest.... Alex J. Cavanaugh hosts with Andrew Leon, and Mathew MacNish to show appreciation for our blogger buddies.

The bloggers we really miss…
and the ones we would really miss!

"Do you have a couple blogger buddies who aren’t posting as often? Those who’ve pulled back and seem absent from the blogging world? Do you have blogger buddies you are grateful they are still around and would miss if they vanished? Now is your chance to show your appreciation and spotlight them!

On November 16, list one to three bloggers you really miss and one to three bloggers you would miss if they stopped blogging. Then go leave a comment on those blogs.

Our blogger friends are special – time to let them know!"

This is an INCREDIBLY difficult choice. Over the past few years I have grown so fond of MANY of my blogger friends and I consider all of them special. Now for the ones I miss. That is a bit easier.

First is Margo Benson... What a sweetheart. I miss you lovely posts for Devon England and her graciousness and charm is forever missed by me.

Next... Giggles and Guns, Mary Vaughn... I terribly miss Mary. She closed her blog over four months ago. Whenever I needed a good LAUGH, Mary was always there. She is also very special to me a more personal level.

Finally. Jodi Henry from
Turning the Page... Jodi and I started blogging around the same time several  years ago. We were very close for the first year, and then she became busy with her writing and family. But I will always be grateful to Jodi for the help she had given me (grammerwise... LOL) in my fledgling writing.

Now for the hard part. You guys want me to pick THREE? Of the DOZENS of friends I adore? You guys are really pushing it now... But since you are twisting my arm ...

First... one of our hosts. Alex. He has given so much of his time and love to our community, I don't know what we would do without his presence. I shudder to think about it.

Next ... It would have to be my cyber SIS, Siv Ottem form Been There, Done That ... Siv is very special to me... We connect on a whole other level and I would be devastated if she left the blogosphere.

Now I have just decided I CANNOT choose only three. So GET OVER IT!

Roland Yeomans.... An amazing writer and good friend. His blog "called to me" when I first started blogging. Roland's heart and soul is clearly visible in EVERYTHING her writes and expresses on his blog. I have learned a great deal from him.

Morgan Shamy... A wonderful new friend. Morgan is the epitome of kindness, positivity, enthusiasm, effervescence, and charm. Over the past few weeks she has been just the most awesome support for my writing and I am thrilled to have her in my life!

Denise Covey of L'AUSSIE .... An amazing blogger, friend, and inspiration. Denise has given us so much. Through her travels, her insights and passion for writing are clearly evident. Her  posts are fun, zesty, and passionate.

Donna Hole. Donna is an amazing blogger and friend. OF all of the bloggers I know, Donna has critiqued more stories than any of us. She is ALWAYS willing to help a fellow writer and she is one of THE MOST SELFLESS people I know.

Ali Cross... and her Ninja army. Ali, too has helped so many pull they work together through her fun and inspiring Ninja themed workshops.

Moody, of Mood Writing. Talk about a never-ending fountain of writing information. Mood's posts make us think... They give us ways to fine tune our writing and make it sparkle... Thanks Mood.

The Golden Eagle.... What a sweetheart. Golden gives so much of herself in her posts and ALWAYS drops by with the nicest comments.

Okay, I can go ON and ON and ON and ON... Just look at my sidebar! For anyone I haven't mentioned, please know I love you all and I am forced to stop because if I don't this will be THE LONGEST post in the blogoshere. But be assured, even if I don't get to you as often as I would like, you guys are always in my heart!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone and make sure to stop by the other participants and especially the bloggers you love... Let them know how you feel! I know I will!

And a special thanks to all of you for the wonderful comments about my new writing space. If you didn't get a chance to see it, just scroll down ... I'd love to know what you think!

I am not sure if it was just for me, but the font of this post (Grey) on a brown background, was difficult to read without highlighting it.

I really like the idea though.

Hey,

Yahhy! to Morg for getting a mention (she *is* wonderful) and I hope, Michael that the folks you're missing get the chance to read this sometime - your words, as always, come from the heart :)

I had a really hard time selecting three as well. And I really miss Mary! She was awesome.
Thanks for participating in our blogfest.

I love you too Bro! Had to highlight your post in order to read it, what happened there? LOL...I miss Mary too, I suppose the longer we do this, the more bloggers we are bound to end up losing. Hope you have a great week-end!

Margo is a fantastic choice!

Mind Of Mine came to my rescue with the idea of highlighting your font or I wouldn't have been able to read your fine post.

Thanks for thinking of me. I love all my friends here in Blogverse and couldn't name them all -- but you are a great friend as is Siv and Donna and Alex. Thanks again, Roland

Ohhhhh... Michael, can't even tell you how this warms my heart! You are amazing... and YOU are one of those blogs on my sidebar I CAN'T do without. Your blog is probably the only blog I visit multiple times just so I can read all the comments... You are such a light and I'm SO lucky to know you!

I should've taken your path and given more shout-outs, LOL.

Hi Michael - I remember those friends who are not blogging .. Margo and Mary - but not Jodi .. but like you three was impossible .. knew you'd select your cyber sister Siv .. and your other suggestions are just brilliant ... and simply we cannot nominate them all ..

Great post .. cheers Hilary

Fantastic list of people. I couldn't agree more as I regularly visit these names you've put here. BTW I've been raving about your home renovation. So lovely.

I know The Golden Eagle! She is very sweet and I agree with you, I would miss her terribly if she stopped blogging.

Also, I like how you redid your space to have a nice writing place. It turned out very well - and what a relief to you it must be to have it all done!

And I forgot to say thanks for mentioning me, Michael. Your post came up really dark this morning, and it was difficult to read. So I missed that and didn't catch it until I looked later - and then forgot to comment!

Aw, thank you so much for the mention! That just made my day. :)

I really miss Margo and Mary, too.

Hey Michael! Great choices! I miss Mary from Giggles and Guns too..she was awesome...and I am familiar with a few of the others you mentioned and I totally agree...I thought this would be an easy 'fest, but it's kind of hard...don't want to miss anyone!

I completely understand Michael - it was hard to choose from! We know the same people via this online writing community! What a small world it is! It's even SMALLER now that we connect online! I love living in this era!

Great choices! I know a couple of those folks! :)

Hi Michael. You are so sweet. We all know how you love the blogoverse. I'm with you there. I love it and am sad that at the mo' I just can't blog often or visit bloggers. I made an exception for checking out a few of these posts. It's the first of Alex's 'fests I haven't participated in, but I've commented on several. Lovely idea. D
You know you're one of my favourites, too, as is Donna.

Hi Michael
Well those are some great blogs. I met Siv last year and I know you did too. Wonderful!

I checked out your space, so neat and tidy and very white. I'm guessing there are no kids at your place. Mine looks like WWIII arrived with boxes of goods for anyone who'd like to poke their heads inside.

I love all the people you mentioned! It was so very difficult to narrow down my choices. I almost said forget and did a list of all links. LOL

And I love your new spaces. Congrats!

Holy cow, I've been gone from Blogland longer than I realized---totally missed this fest! Very nice tributes to your blogbuddies - and I could actually feel how much it hurt you to not be able to go on and on until you'd listed every single one.
