ARSON, LOVE, AND MURDER ... WHICH IS HOTTER? ...

Flashes of red, gold scorching flames ignite at a local bistro on Padre Island. Summer covers her face with her hand, gasping. She escapes. The arsonist just steps away. She turns and their eyes lock.

Sirens screech through the silent streets as fire engines roar to the site. The Captain shouts out orders as Summer melts into the amercing crowd, escaping once more. Her nerves more ablaze than the inferno, she has no where to hide. Checking over her shoulder every few seconds, the penetration of his eyes lingers. She was no longer invisible.

I have no choice. She weaves against the crowd closer to the smoldering building. The toxicity from the billowing smoke catches in her throat. Perspiration dampens her blonde streaked hair. The husky fire captain hoses the blaze as she approaches him. Stress lines deeply etch his fine features. His dark eyes reflect the flashes of heated light. She waits ...

Time passes and Summer’s attraction for Gabe sizzles. Desperate to keep her identity hidden, the fire captain breaks down her guard and places both of them at risk. She is no longer safe. No longer able to be hidden in the witness protection program. She is exposed. She must fight for her life and his ... but at what cost?
