No answer - that's cheating! Twenty years younger? Maybe. But I think I'm in better shape now at almost fifty than I was when I was thirty.

L. Diane Wolfe said...

Yes, if only we were younger, there would be more options. I'm actually older than Hugh Jackman, who would be my choice. Then again, I've seen his wife, and I think I have a shot.

Robyn Campbell said...

Hey! Where's your answer??? I flew over to read it. Anyway, thanks for helping Crystal. What a great question. Hope all is well, Michael!

A list as long as your arm? lol!
Interesting question to put out there for a blogfest. I haven't a clue who I'd choose and like you, I'm attracted to all sorts of different types for different reasons--looks are not on the top of the list but then, the hunchback of Notre Dame isn't on there either, lol!

We have more snow today. I'll be SO glad when this winter is done!

LOL! Sorry to torture you, Michael. You're an epic sport though, and I couldn't have a better cohost. You totally rock!

I'm with Alex, Michael. I bet you're in better shape now than you were twenty years ago, too.

Julie Flanders said...

LOL if I knew I could have pleaded the fifth I would have joined the hop. :D It's fun to read all the answers - this is a great hop you guys are hosting. Congrats to Crystal!!

I don't think so, Alex... LOL. Well, you all seem to be upset with me. LOL.

Actually way back, I had met one of my fav. supermodels when in the early 80's, I had only been modeling for about five years, but she was such a superstar I was all tongue-tied... But... man was I hooked.

Have you guessed?

Supermodel... Carol Alt.

Michael Di Gesu said...

GO for it, Diane! LOL.

Michael Di Gesu said...

Sorry Robyn.... but, as I had just told Alex... I guess in my youth it was Supermodel Carol Alt.

Michael Di Gesu said...

Oh, it is... IT IS!!!!..I just informed Alex, that in my youth it would've been supermodel Carol Alt.

Michael Di Gesu said...

Susan, you are TOO KIND! Remember twenty years ago I was a top model. I may be a bit thinner now, but one can never compete with a youthful glow. I had PERFECT skin back then... now... hmmm lined, suns-spotted, BUT with LOTS of character. LOL... It's from smiling all the time! Especially at my wonderful blogger buddies!

Pleading the fifth is very smart. Very smart, indeed. haha

But who is YOUR choice?

Love,

I have a big list, but I will try to narrow it down. ;) I'd go with Chris Hemsworth. Yummy and he plays a god.

Choosing not to choose is a choice...
We can choose for you!

erica and christy said...

I wanted to plead too, but I caved to the pressure and picked someone. Ooh, it could be a fun blogfest all in itself to have everyone pick FOR you! hehe. Christy

Christine Rains said...

Good thing it's your parents arranging the marriage so you don't have to choose. ;) Great job co-hosting today! Crystal's book is awesome.

D.G. Hudson said...

Life in retrospect is fun to contemplate. To be younger in body, yet as wise as you are now. That would work. . .

Choosing not to choose. .. Wished I had a few of those moments.

Nicki Elson said...

I'm with you, Michael---WAY too hard of a question ot answer...

Anonymous said...

It was hard to answer . . . soooo many possibilities!

Kimberly said...

You got out of that really well. :) It would have been hardto choose if I didn't pick my own hubby. :)

Kristin Smith said...

It was a super hard question, but I think you handled it well by pleading the fifth! : ) I see that you did cave in and give a name. So, a supermodel, huh? Very nice. : )

Tammy Theriault said...

so let me get this straight... when you say "many choices" you are referring to my many traits and are choosing me? right? RIGHT? *throws little black dress on floor* I'm so not going to go out with you running in my best outfit if you don't say yes!

dolorah said...

Ah hell Dude. I thought I'd learn something about your deepest fantasy here. *sniffs* I feel cheated.

Kyra Lennon said...

Haha, I agree with Donna! :p

Natalie Aguirre said...

I'd have a hard time choosing too. So excited for Crystal. I shouted out about her celebration even though I couldn't be part of the tour.

S.P. Bowers said...

Honestly I would plead the fifth too. Though, If I had to do it all over again my hubby would top the list, by a far margin. I think my parents would have chosen him for me too. They've told me enough times that he was the only one they could see me marrying.

Heather M. Gardner said...

So unfair! I'm not upset with you though. I hope you know that we are your supporters and you could have told us anything!

I was looking forward to reading the answer from a Male perspective. I don't really know you, but let me set you up with Christy Brinkley- would that make you happy?

Tyrean Martinson said...

I agree with Christine . . . you wouldn't have to make the choice if your parents set you up. :) But I totally get pleading the fifth. Wise man.

Bish Denham said...

So, Michael, a little possibility of incriminating yourself? :)

Connie Keller said...

I was looking forward to seeing the male perspective, but I understand.

I've been wondering how different these posts would have been if we'd had to guess who our parents would have chosen for us.

Kittie Howard said...

Pleading the Fifth is a very wise choice! Great seeing you on the screen, Michael. Hope the New Year is a great one for you.

Kim Van Sickler said...

Thanks for co-hosting you coward! And I agree with Connie. The answer would be totally different. Since my dad worked for General Electric his whole life, he would have been thrilled to hook me up with a future CEO of G.E. like Jack Welch.

PK HREZO said...

Well you took the easy way out my friend, but that's ok. We still love you. Smooch!

Cherie Reich said...

Congrats to Crystal! How exciting for her book to be in print as well as ebook. :)

Crystal Collier said...

Wahoo! Now that wasn't too painful, was it? (Offering cheese balm...)

Michelle Wallace said...

Hey Michael, I'm so with you!
I too would have pleaded the fifth... and that's why I didn't sign up... too many possibilities, (Mr. Depp being one of them...)
(See you next week for the Ubuntu Blog Hop. I'm looking forward to reading all the entries...)

I think I would go with Nathan Fillion, Oo, or Jeffrey Donovan!

Wait. Why are all of my celeb picks in their forties?! I plead the fifth, too. LOL
