Could it actually be Captain Brody, alias Prince Broderick of Delphine, now living in self exile, responsible for these attacks?
Well all, what do you think? Are you hooked? I know I am.
Mary's vivid imagery and battle scenes are rich with description and her heroine is so unique and intriguing. I had such fun creating this intro for her newest novel.
Mary is an AMAZING writer and this is the third book in the series. Once you've read one, you'll want to read them all!

Oh, and as a final note... THANK YOU ALL for THE BLITZ ON WEDNESDAY. IT REALLY CHASED AWAY THE MID WINTER BLUES!!!

Great review Michael just the job for these cold winter's nights
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Michael,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the lovely introduction. I really enjoyed seeing how you twisted my tale :-)
My pleasure Mary! Glad you enjoyed my twisted tale. LOL
DeleteGlad you had a good Blitz day!
ReplyDeleteAnd anything with dragons has my interest.
No dragons in this one, per se, Alex, but will a wyvern do? Or a cockatrice?
DeleteI like how you opened up with a reference to the intriguing necklace featured on the cover.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I was hooked already, but if I wasn't, this intro would have piqued my interest.
Thanks! Michael knows the necklaces play a big role in each of the stories, and I can totally see Rielle doing what he described. In fact, she does something quite similar in the book itself!
DeleteThe cover is so amazing, TOO!... Of course, I had to include that cool necklace in the intro.
DeleteI resigned from Blog Blitz. The thought of being inundated with lots of comments, like Alex is regularly, horrified me. I am the same, give me a dragon character and I will read the book. Sounds great.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo. There is a dragon in QUEST OF THE HART, the first in the series (shameless plug :-) )
DeleteVery nice intro. Tweeted!
ReplyDeleteThanks for helping to spread the word, Shelly!
DeleteAn excellent intro, Michael, and that is an very nice cover. I didn't notice the necklace at first, but a strong female character is always a draw for me.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck, Mary!
Thanks, DG. CK Volnek did the cover, and I totally loved it when I saw it.
DeleteSounds like a great book. Have an awesome weekend and hope it warms up a little.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan. Hope you have a great weekend!
DeleteDragons are the new black. Well, that and the weather. But dragons are more fun:)
ReplyDeleteDragons are totally awesome. I know I'm looking forward to Melissa Petreshock's FIRE OF STARS AND DRAGONS release :-)
DeletePerfection yet again, Michael! Congratulations Mary!
ReplyDeleteSounds truly intriguing!
Thanks, Yolanda!
DeleteSounds fascinating and fun. And you did a great intro as always.
ReplyDeleteThanks Roland, and I agree- Michael did a fantastic job.
DeleteBest of luck Mary!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elizabeth!
