INSECURITIES COME IN MORE THAN ONE PACKAGE...

Hi, Everyone!

Sorry for the late post, but time seems to be slipping away so quickly...and the fact that Nov. 1 is the first Wednesday of the month make this IWSG post so much earlier than usual.

I hope you are all doing well... I've missed the community terribly, but like has hit me with another bout of arthritis in my shoulders and wrists which makes typing and computer work painful.

I haven't had an attack this bad in almost a decade. I thought it was gone forever, but like so many other illnesses that go into remission, they can, and often do come back to plague us... just like bad reviews. LOL... We must grind out teeth and live through the waves of pain.

Good luck to those who have submitted to the IWSG Anthology. I had SOOOOO hoped to submit. I had the perfect story that I had started a few years ago, but I couldn't revisit it at this time. Too many of life's obstacles keep getting in my way. Some day, I hope.

On the positive side, my new place is moving along. The kitchen install started today very late, so it will hopefully be completed on Friday. Then the counter tops next week. SO by next weekend I just may be able to have a functional and GORGEOUS kitchen. I'll post pics soon. This is one of my prettiest kitchen designs. I finally found the right space for me! It only took about three years, lol. Thank you all for supporting me emotionally through my insane journey. The journey to find a place to call home! Once I settle and feel truly comfortable, I just may finally write a story worthy of publishing....Time will tell.

Thank you, Alex, for keeping us all going and for you support and friendship. It is greatly appreciated!

Please visit the other posts by our wonderful members at Alex's site. You just may feel better...

Hugs to you all!!!!!

Hey ho Michael. You're late. I didn't post at all. I've just come out of hibernation once and that was to post for WEP. Busy doesn't begin to cut it.

So pleased you're HOME and decorating to your heart's content. It has been a long journey for you. Sorry the arthritis has hit you. How painful. I hope there's some treatment and you're pain free soon!

Denise :-)

Michael, if it makes you feel any better, I posted later than you did! I hope you'll find some relief during this month with your discomfort. Good luck with the home design. Glad to hear you're happy with how it's coming along.

Hi Michael - frustrating about the arthritis ... but you sound cheerful with the renovations that are going on - and I'm so pleased you feel more settled with this home - that you will shortly really call home. Looking forward to seeing the pics - take care and cheers Hilary

I was hoping to submit to the anthology too, I had an idea for a story but I couldn't quite manage to put it into words.
Sorry to hear about the arthritis, hope you feel better soon!

Ooooh, excited about your kitchen! Sorry to hear about you being ill still :( What do you do all day without typing?

Really sorry about the arthritis. Bummer it and life kept you from the keyboard, especially as the anthology's genre was in your wheelhouse.
Appreciate you doing your best to stay connected with all of us!

Can't wait to see your new place.

I struggle with arthritis, too, so I know how painful that can be.

So sorry about your arthritis. Maybe you could use one of those programs that lets you talk and the computer types so that you could write and be on your computer.

Can't wait to see your kitchen update.

That stinks about the arthritis. I hope it goes back into remission soon. But I'm happy to see an update from you and know that some things are going well. The perfect surroundings will be your muse, I'm sure of it!

Hey Mr Blurb King!
Sorry to hear about the arthritis. You should try one of the voice recognition software programmes to write your stories.
Can't wait to see the pics!
Keep well!

Unfortunately, when it comes to health issues and the prospect of finding 'home' I can relate. Remember to keep breathing in and out and know that if you went into remission once, it can happen again. I hope it's soon. On the issue of 'home', I'm happy for you if even a bit envious. Enjoy you new place and the options you have to design and decorate.

Sorry about the arthritis, it's a bugger isn't it? I know. I envy you having what sounds like a great kitchen. Our apartment has a tiny place. I hope your new home will be great for you to settle down. Best of luck and health.

Thank you for being a little late. That helps me a lot, since I'm more than a little late. Very excited to see your new place. I'm sure it's going to be amazing.

So sorry to hear about your health issues, Michael. I hope you're feeling better very soon and that the cold weather doesn't make it worse. I've been missing in action from blogland as well lately for a variety of reasons. Not health problems though knock on wood.

Can't wait to see your new kitchen. Hope you feel better. It's terrible to have that pain that you just have to suffer through.

Arthritis is no joke. I had a horrible attack in both knees two years ago, and I was bedridden for two weeks. Miserable. I hope you're doing better now.

So sorry to read about the arthritis, Michael. I hope the pain has eased at least somewhat by now. Take care!

So, your kitchen is functional now? I sure hope so and I can't wait to see pictures. Arthritis sucks. Does the cold agitate it?
