WHEN WOULD YOU SAY NO? ....

Hi, everyone,

Sorry I'm posting this late, but I was out of the blogosphere for the weekend and today. Thanks to all of you. Writing and illustrating for our lovely blogger friends in our community!

I'd like to say HI, to Gary and out hosts,  Mark Koopmans. Ninja Captain, Alex, Robyn Engle, Morgan Shamy, and Tina from "life is good."

SO, here we are at the ANTI-BLOGFEST GARY FEST! A man who doesn't like blogfests... Can you even imagine? LOL

The RULES: Pick three PG rated themes that you would never sign up for ...

My three choices...

1: Your favorite religion and why? Some topics shouldn't be made into a bloghop, and something as special and important as religious beliefs is one of them!

2:  YOUR FAVORITE BLOGGER and WHY? I would have a nervous breakdown.... who could POSSIBLY CHOOSE?!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe my favorite 500....

3: Why I HATE my life! I am SO not into negativity on any level!

So those are my three choices. Don't forget to hop over to the hosts and read the other bloggers entries... There are some really good ones!  What bloghop would you never consider? Have some news! Will tell you more on Friday! Have a great week everyone!!!!!

Hi Michael .. well number 2 would be impossible ... on any scale.

Number one - never ..

Number three - negativity is a no no in my life too ..

I'm all positive and off for a few days of mega culture with lots of travel ... I will not be tired, I am not negative!!

Cheers and welcome back ... it's good to have a break .. Hilary

A triple no-no to your batch of blogfest boo-boos!!
Religion, supportive blogger buddies & negative vibes... topics to be avoided... just don't go there...
Hope you're well, Michael.

No worries being late!
Your first one would rip apart the Internet. And the last one? There's enough negative in the world - no thanks.

No one wants to listen to someone whine about his or her life. And sticking on a blog is a really bad idea.

I like your picks and high five you. Great choices Michael.

Oh and so glad my lad that you are so busy illustrating!

It's been fun reading all the clever non-fests people have thought up. One could combine all three of yours. A favorite religious blogger who hates his/her life.

That ought to raise a few hackles. :)

Great choices, Michael. I wouldn't do those either, especially the religion one.

Hi Michael,

I so agree with your choices. Religion especially has caused a zillion fights, wars, and much more. Good luck with all the creative work!!!

That's what I like most about you, Michael. You're always positive, and very kind too. It's not a Pollyanna annoying kind of cheer. It's sincere. You're the real thing.

I agree, religion is way too touchy and personal, even moreso than politics. And my favorite 500 bloggers MIGHT be possible.

Thanks for participating in this blogest, Michael. So glad you jumped aboard. Being late entitles you to leftover brownies. Oh, sorry. I ate them all.

Cheers,
xoRobyn

That favorite religion hop is perfect for the anti-blog hop hop.

Morgan said...

Oh my gosh... can you imagine number 2??? You'd lose all your followers after the hop, LOL!

And love the no negativity. It's hard to always keep that mindset, but I know that I always *try* my best to look at the positive. Which is definitely a challenge as a writer! (And yay for news on Friday!)

Oh my goodness. I'd probably go into hiding if those blogfests started circulating. LOL

P.S. Thanks for putting the Strength graphic up! :D

Love your 3 ideas - have really enjoyed blog hopping and reading some pretty out there ideas!

Greetings Michael,

At last, I finally got here. Thanks for being part of the irony of ironies :)

Three thoughtful blogfests that I most certainly wouldn't join up with. Then again, you wont see me joining any blogfest. No surprise there.

Although your second one could be easily rigged. Keep voting for yourself by creating an alternative blog that votes for this blog.

Okay, I'd better go now. Thanks again, I guess!

Gary :)

Yeah, that first one would just be ugly. Hope you enjoyed your weekend away :)

You've chosen three really good bad blogfests. Maybe numbers 1 and 2 would help cheer up number 3!

Love the favorite blogger one! I'm afraid my house might get burned to the ground. LOL Plus, I really do love all of the ones I keep up with. I couldn't pick a favorite, because you're all so awesomely different.

What a hoot! The ghost of Mark Twain chose himself for his favorite blogger since he guests for me so often! Pace yourself!

I'm pretty sure I saw #2 around at some stage. I had a chuckle at your #1

Elizabeth Seckman said...

Glad you're getting so much work!

I definitely couldn't pick a favorite blogger. That would be awful!!

Busy weekend? Wonderful weekend, thank you! I'm late to do too, due to editing, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Your hops are definitely ones to be ignored. But this one was so much fun!

Congrat's on all your success, and thanks again!

DEZMOND said...

what the what? Shouldn't moi be your obvious choice for blogfest number 2? :)

I'd skip Blogger the day all people would write about their fave religion :)

Lucky you Michael for taking the weekend off. I like your three choices.

Danette said...

Glad you are so busy with your new ventures!

Those would most definitely be terrible blogfests- lol.

Melissa said...

Great list. :)

Michelle Merrill said...

Ooh, I like your picks. I actually have done a religious one and it didn't go too badly. But yes, picking favorites is hard! And I always appreciate how positive you are! It's a great trait :)

Samantha May said...

I think your first one would break the internet O_O

I don't think I could ever choose a favorite blogger. That's absolutely impossible.

There's enough negativity in the world already. Now, a "Why My Life is Wonderful" blogfest would be cool :)

Unknown said...

I would avoid all 3 in your list as well. Negativity on the blog (or anywhere else) is a terrible thing!

Haha, well chosen topics! :)

First and third are like the worst I could get into. Second, yes, you're right, but still it's like the award giving, I guess... or close.

Gina Gao said...

This is a great list! I completely agree.

Ha! Those are perfect blog hops to never sign up for!! So great to hear from you Michael! I'm just about to return to work (teaching) next week. Once the craziness dies down, I'd love to meet up! Hope all is well with you!

JJ said...

I think I could discuss #1 intelligently, and I believe I could choose a favorite blogger, but #3 is just not me. It is an easy choice for this happy guy!

Nicki Elson said...

Hehe, these are fantastic hops...that I would NEVER join either.

So excited that things are off to a blazing start w/ the new biz! Looking forward to that news tomorrow. ;)
