ATTENTION HARRY POTTER FANS ... MY FIRST ARTICLE FOR THE THESTRAL GAZETTE!

Today is a very exciting day for me. My first article for the Thestral Gazette, Umbridge Unmasked, is published on Laurel Garver's blog, Laurel's Leaves. She created a fantastically amusing mock magazine for Hogwart's students founded by Colin Creevy and Luna Lovegood.

Every Thursday the magazine is published on Laurel's blog, so I hope you will all visit on Thestral Thursdays. Every week a different article features someone from the Harry Potter series. Last weeks article featured and expose' on Victor Krum and his love life by Melissa Sarno, the Gazette's celebrity reporter ... fun stuff.

I am the investigative reporter for the Gazette and I dug up some major juice on Dolores Jane Umbridge. So if you want to find out the latest on Dolores hop over to Laurel's site ... you won't be disappointed. And please don't forget to leave a comment. I'd LOVE to know what you think. Maybe this could be my new career ... LOL.

With the soon to be released Part II of Deathly Hallows, we all need to keep the HP fire burning. What will we all do once the last movie is aired? Will our obsession for ANYTHING HP continue? I'd like to know what your thoughts are .... Will you miss HP?

Hopping over to check this out.
What do you mean no HP? He is going to be another Sherlock Holmes -- going on in some way forever.

Great idea! Hopping over to check it out right now.. :) :)
As for my HP obsession, it kinda banked out after I read Deathly Hallows, and I'm afraid I never really loved the movies.. But I'm still game for some Wizard fun! :D :D

I like that newsletter idea. On my way to check it out.
I don't think I'm going to miss Harry Potter when it's over, unless the ending doesn't satisfy me. :)

A mock Gazette, how fun! I love it! I'm super excited for the next installment of HP. However, I do wonder what, if anything, J.K. is working on now...

That's great, Michael! I confess, I'm not a big fan, although I've seen all the movies. But we all need our passions. Meanwhile I'm waiting for the next Star Trek and The Hobbit - hurry up, guys!

We were just talking about Dolores Umbridge last night at dinner. My husband and I couldn't decide whether she is just an evil administrator or she's actually part of the dark side. My daughter (who is currently reading HP5) said Dolores is definitely part of Voldomort's crew.

Hi Michael. About 1 in 20 blog comments work when I leave them so I hope this works. I can't get comments to work on my story (the Arab woman) so I just want to say thank you for taking the time to go read and for your superlative words. Quite a story, huh? That is just the essence of it, but I think it is right to the point that way.

I haven't been able to comment here for awhile, so let me say here, great idea for you HP heads to have your 'newspaper.' Great stuff.

Love what you said about your blogger buddies and the personal comments to each. You are very appreciative of people.

I will miss anticipating a good movie I can watch with my kids, but then eventually something else will take its place.

Don't hate me but I've never read HP. But, I'm so happy for you and your article.

I'm excited to go read your post! My first time over there was when Jen posted and I loved it! What a great idea :)

Awesome! On my way over.

And I hear you about the ending of a legacy. It's sad. We own all the books and the movies and we can still experience the HP magic.

There's always a new group of children to fall in love with the books as well. Right?

I love, love, LOVED your article! It was fabulous! You do great work my friend!

I wish all of us could get together and see the midnight showing of HP! Where is Jo and our apparating abilities when you need them!

I was just over at Laurel's blog and read your article. That explains a lot about Umbridge!

I'm going to miss Harry Potter after the last movie comes out. I was sad when I finished the last book, but at least then I still had the movies to look forward to. I guess all good things must come to an end.
