Creativity is a terrible thing to waste. Although creative writing is important to all who seek this blog, I would also like to share with you other creative outlets such as art, design, and music. Without them, there would be no inspiration for our writing.

DID YOU GO TO THE MIDNIGHT SHOWING OF HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS?
I know there are many HP fanatics went to the Midnight or after showing! I didn't, but wanted to go. I'm not going until the 6:00 pm showing.
TELL ME! TELL ME! TELL ME! IF you LOVED it .... IF you HATED it! or Somewhere in between.
As we all know this is ONLY the FIRST part. So we do have the second half to look forward to next summer. ANOTHER SIX MONTHS! That's all Warner Bros. and JK Rowling ever do ... MAKE US WAIT!
I read this book in two days.... I was bleary-eyed when I finished. After I found out what happened, I immediately we back to re-read it at a slower pace.
As we see Harry bumbling his way through the English countryside to find each and every horcrux, JK Rowling weaves in this incredible sub-plot which I really enjoyed: the Hallows. What a fantastic idea introducing Beatle the Bard.
The invisibility cloak: it was introduced to us in Sorcerer's Stone. A gift from Harry's father. The first Hallow.
Tom Riddle's ring: another family heirloom, which happens to be another Hallow.
The Death Stick: our final Hallow. Giving the wand its own history .... another thread in this tapestry Rowling wove for us.
This involved story within a story gives this edition that extra something we all expected from the climax of Harry Potter.
Designer tip of the week will be posted tomorrow. Harry Potter takes precedence this week.
TO ALL MY HP FRIENDS .... WE STILL HAVE ONE MORE TREAT COMING. LET'S RELISH IT WHILE WE CAN ...

I didn't go . . . but I'm just as excited to find out what people thought!
ha ha i love this potterfever.
I went to a midnight show. Showed up at the theater at 7pm and almost was stuck waiting outside in freezing temperatures (Which I would have gladly done). I ended up loving it. I think it was very well done. My only complaint is that we now have to wait until July for the conclusion.
And I made plans to go see it again Saturday.
I hope you enjoy...
IT WAS SO AMAZING! I can't wait to see what you think! Hope you enjoy it!!
Sorry Michael I have been out of the blog loop because I was asked to redesign the church websites and it has taken me the best part of 3 days to do so and now I have a crick in the neck! See http://www.stlukes.buckfastleigh.org/ which is best viewed in Internet Explorer. (Strangely moxilla firefox is still showing some of the older webpages, but if you click on home it will take you to my redesigned version)
Anyway. We shall be seeing HP on Sunday as it is tradition to go with our friends. :O)
Michael : I am working eight days straight so poor Harry will have to wait until Tuesday. And it ends in the middle! But that gives us something to look forward to, right?
Have to run for the blood wars now, Roland
My husband and I rarely get out..we'll be lucky to see it when it comes out on DVD! Enjoy, Michael! christy
Can't wait to see the new movie!
Your blog posts are much more readable now, Michael, thanks :) BTW, have you tried clearing your text of all formatting after you paste it in? That might be what's doing it...

My hubby took me on the weekend and I loved it... he, however, thought it was slow. After I told him how slow I thought HE was to say such blasphemy, I told him it must be because he hasn't read the books (can you imagine?). Great HP posts, by the way... just read them all! And your gift story was lovely!
I read the book in six or seven hours after I bought it at midnight. I stayed up till three that night then (after my grandma dragged me away for church) I finished it on Sunday.
I also got to see this movie at midnight, because my daddy loves me. XD
