WHO WANTS MORE WIZARDING WORLD? MORE PICS.... HOGWARTS! SUPER SNOOPER BLOGFEST ENTRY.

Today is the day for Alison Peace Stevens' Super-Snooper Blogfest! Describe a setting that tells us something about your character's personality.

Another sunny day in Orlando, Florida. With rain early morning, I had planned to spend the day writing on the 21st floor of my hotel overlooking the lagoon. Well, as most people know Florida rains one moment and five minutes later the sun blazes.

By noon the sun shined brightly and I ventured over to Islands of Adventure. Only a twenty minute walk to the park from my hotel, I arrived by twelve thirty.

Today's post I will be featuring the castle.

By far this is one of the most magnificent views of  Hogwart's castle. The two winged warthog gargoyles flanking the entrance to at he multi-spired castle, does take one's breath away.

If you travel down a cobble stone street toward Jurassic Park, you get a fantastic side view.

From this entrance into Hogsmeade you see another wonderful metal plague. And more SNOW...

Inside the Great Hall, are THE talking portraits. It is so awesome. The holograms are so realistic!

This area is a perfect replica on a smaller scale. The marble staircase only traveled up a few flights, but as you climb to the second level you can get a better look at the talking paintings.

Yes, this is Dumbledore's office. The details are amazing with thousands of books and gadgets.

Look closely and yo can see Professor Dumbledore himself as he's speaking....

This photo has amazing details. And in these details you really can appreciate the time and expense Universal and Warner Brothers put into this WORLD.

When you visit. Take the time. IGNORE the crowds and LOOK at EVERYTHING. Even inside the locker room, stores, and restaurants.

Drop by tomorrow to see pics of the stores ... up close and personal.

I hope you enjoyed the pics.

Although I am leaving tomorrow to head over to Cocoa Beach, I will post pics of Wizarding World for the next few days.

Friday's post will be my regular weekly post of Earthly Angels. Don't forget if you'd like to share you experience with a special person, I want to hear about it.

Have a  GREAT  Wednesday.

Great photos! My kids would love it (as would I). Great entry for the blogfest, too. I can't imagine a teen (which is what I picture) in a room like that. All white--it'd never last, unless she's very fastidious. :) Thanks for participating!

Great pictures, and I know it's a bit off topic. But I love your feed the fish application. I could sit here for the next five minutes feeding your fish. :D

Had no idea this existed! I live way up in the boonies and don't get out much. I think I know where my next vacation will be. Wow! Keep posting photos!

That is fabulous! Thanks for the photos--love the detail and accuracy from the HP books!!! I wish I could take my daughters and cruise around (they're 22 and 24 now but definite HP fans).

More cool photos! So what does the rest of the park look like? The same? I was always a sucker for the Marvel and Jurassic Park areas.
